One person in hospital after two-vehicle collision in Milton

Halton police say one person is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a collision Thursday afternoon in Milton.

At approximately 2:40 p.m. a red Honda SUV travelling westbound on 25 Side Road and a grey Mazda hatchback travelling southbound on Sixth Line Nassagaweya collided in the intersection.

The driver of the Mazda was taken to an out of region trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

Due to the nature of the injuries, the Collision Reconstruction Unit is now investigating.
