Fort Erie man arrested in connection with Haldimand-Norfolk drug trafficking investigation

Haldimand-Norfolk Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say they’ve arrested one person following an investigation into drug trafficking.

On Tuesday, police arrested 42-year-old Fort Erie resident Jean Pierre Auclair in Tillsonburg.

Officers say he was also wanted by Niagara police.

During Auclair’s arrest, police say they seized suspected cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, Canadian currency and drug-related paraphernalia.

He is facing two charges related to possession for the purpose of trafficking, and one charge of possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.
