Federal sex offender known to frequent Hamilton area wanted for breach of release

A federal sex offender known to frequent the Hamilton and Norfolk County areas is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breach of his statutory release.

Michael Lockyer, 36, is described as white, 6 feet 2 inches (188 cm) and weighs 200 lbs (91 kgs) with brown hair and green eyes. He has a tattoo of a broken heart on his right hand, and tattoos of a flower and star on his right arm.

He is serving a seven year, 10-month-long sentence for four counts of sexual assault and is said to frequent the communities of Hamilton, Brantford, Simcoe and Delhi.
