Police investigating serious hit and run in Niagara Falls

Niagara police say they’re investigating after a serious hit-and-run left one person with critical injuries.
Montrose Road and Greendale Street in Niagara Falls were closed for investigation Monday morning after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the area late Sunday night.
Detectives say a white four-door Audi SUV drove off after colliding with the pedestrian, and was last seen driving southbound on Montrose Road toward Lundy’s Lane.
Police are continuing to search for that vehicle.
Investigators are appealing to the public for any relevant information, including dash cam, cell phone or other surveillance footage recorded in the area between 9:50 p.m. and 10 p.m.
