Welland man dies in Lincoln motorcycle crash

A thirty-four-year old motorcyclist died in a single-vehicle crash in Lincoln last night.

Niagara police say it happened around 8:30 p.m. on King Street between Lincoln Avenue and Stadelbauer Drive. The motorcyclist was riding a grey Kawaski Ninja and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Anyone who was in the area between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Wednesday is asked to review any dashcam footage and to call police at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009367 if they spot anything.

King Street reopened today at 5:15 a.m.
