Police arrest man after stolen truck causes multi-vehicle collision in St. Catharines

Niagara police have arrested one man after a stolen truck was involved in a multi-vehicle collision in St. Catharines Sunday morning.
Officers say they responded to a multi-vehicle collision in the area of Martindale Road and the QEW overpass around 10 a.m.
Investigators determined that a stolen white pickup truck was travelling northbound on Martindale Road at high speed when the driver lost control and collided with two oncoming vehicles.
All three vehicles sustained significant damage, but no injuries were reported.
The driver of the stolen truck, 34-year-old Joseph Brady of no fixed address, was arrested on scene and faces the following charges:
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order (five counts)
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
- Theft Under $5,000 (three counts)
- Break and Enter a Non-Dwelling with Intent.
