One man dead after fall at Mount Nemo in Burlington

One man is dead following a fall from a cliff at Mount Nemo Conservation Area in Burlington on Monday afternoon.

The Burlington Fire Department told CHCH News that Halton Region Paramedic Services responded to the park and pronounced a man in his early 30s dead at the scene.

Officers say the man was with another climber before falling approximately 40 feet.

The second climber was assisted down off a ledge and was not injured.

Investigators say the death is not suspicious.
