Political analyst discusses the seriousness behind Alberta’s referendum idea

The Premier of Alberta says she will likely call a provincial referendum next year, to allow Albertan voters to weigh in on ideas to protect the province from any quote “hostile acts” from Ottawa.

CHCH spoke with Political Analyst Lori Williams from Mount Royal University in Calgary about the idea of the referendum and how serious of a separation movement in Alberta is.
