Ukraine, U.S. sign mineral, energy profit sharing deal for defence support

The United States has signed a deal with Kyiv that will see them sharing the profits from the future sale of Ukraine’s mineral and energy reserves.
Ukraine is believed to have reserves of critical minerals like graphite, titanium, and lithium.
Experts say the deals is aiming to provide the U.S. with an economic incentive to continue investing in Ukraine’s defence and these critical minerals are highly sought after because of their use in renewable energy, and military technology.
