Cyclist’s leg broken during collision in east Hamilton

A cyclist in east Hamilton had to be taken to hospital after they were struck in the city’s east end.

Officers responded to a collision near the Queenston Traffic Circle on Tuesday.

Police say they located a man suffering from injuries near the corner of Main Street East and Strathearne Avenue around 1:15 p.m.

Police say the cyclist was taken to hospital with what they believe to be a broken leg.

Police remained on scene for several hours to investigate the circumstances that led to this incident.
