New developments today in the widening rift between Canada and India.
The Indian government has suspended visa services for Canadians and is calling the country a safe haven for terrorists, while Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is standing by the allegation that India was involved in the shooting death of a Canadian.
Trudeau wouldn’t offer any new information about the evidence but said the decision to make this public wasn’t made lightly, and he once again called on India to cooperate.
The suspension of visa services means Canadians are no longer able to get a visa to travel to India.
