Toyota has issued a recall of 60,000 Sienna vehicles in Canada over concerns the sliding door could open while the vehicle is moving.

The recall includes Sienna minivans from the model years 2011 to 2016.

The company says they are working on a solution to the problem and all known owners will be notified by first class mail.

Toyota says the problem occurs when the door’s opening is impeded and the motor’s circuit gets overloaded, opening the fuse for the motor. If this happens when the door is unlatched, the door could open while driving.

A total of 834,000 Toyota Sienna minivans have been recalled in North America due to the issue.
