Prime Minister Justin Trudeau leaves for Brussels, Saturday night, in order to attend a Canada-EU summit Sunday.
Trudeau is expected to sign the CETA free-trade deal.
The summit was originally planned for Thursday, but was put on hold when the tiny Belgian region of Wallonia prevented the approval of the massive accord.
The region of 3.5-million people along with the support of other European politicians and anti-trade activists had opposed the deal’s investor protection provisions.
Wallonia’s concerns were addressed on Thursday.
