Visitation for Evan Leversage

Visitation continues this afternoon and evening with the family of the young boy from St. George whose wish for one last Christmas touched millions around the world.

Seven-year-old Evan Leversage died early Sunday morning following a long battle with an inoperable brain tumour.

Last evening, people gathered at the Providence Free Reformed Church in St. George to pay their last respects.

Evan attracted incredible support in October when his hometown rallied together to provide him with an early Christmas celebration.

Visitation continues this afternoon at the church from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.

There will be temporary road closures and shuttle buses for the funeral service which will take place at 1 pm tomorrow.
