It’s homecoming weekend at McMaster, with all kinds of Marauders events including the football game with Mac taking on the Queen’s Gaels.

Kickoff is Saturday at 1 o’clock at Ron Joyce Stadium.

The Marauders are 4-0, ranked number 4 in the nation. Queen’s, a perennial contender, and a Yates Cup finalist last year, is 0-4.

Quarterback Marshall Ferguson: “I think we’ve threw, like you’re saying, I think we’re hitting the meat and potatoes of the schedule now and for the last three weeks or so we’ve emphasized trying to get better every day regardless of what’s put in front of us.”

“The reality of the OUA is some teams struggle and some are powerhouses and we have the powerhouses really coming up as we head through this part of the season.”

Wide receiver Max Cameron: “knowing that we’re going to have a packed house, that’s a lot of fun, and it’s going to be a beautiful day, the weather’s going to be nice and we’re playing Queen’s who’s a rival team, so you know it’s going to be a big day.”
