Pedestrian in hospital after being struck by vehicle on Hamilton Mountain

A pedestrian remains in hospital following a serious crash on Hamilton Mountain Sunday evening.

It happened shortly after 7 p.m. near the intersection of Scenic Dr. and Balfour Dr.

Police say the male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and transported to hospital with serious injuries. He is now in stable condition.

Scenic Dr. between Denlow Ave. and Garth St. was closed for several hours but has since reopened.

Police have not said if any charges have been laid.

The investigation has been taken over by the collision reconstruction unit.
