Three people injured in apparent stabbing in downtown Hamilton

Three people are in hospital in critical condition following a stabbing at an apartment building in downtown Hamilton.

Emergency crews were called to the scene, near George St. and Caroline St. S., around 12:40 p.m. Monday.

Police say three people have been injured including the attacker. They were all known to each other.

They say the situation is contained and there is no threat to the public.
