Elected officials demanding lower city be added to vaccine rollout

Four Hamilton city councillors, along with the Hamilton Member of Parliament and Member of Provincial Parliament have all signed on to a joint statement soundly criticizing the Doug Ford government.  They say Hamilton’s lower city is being unfairly ignored. Hamilton Member of Parliament and Opposition Leader Andrea Horwath was joined by Hamilton Centre MP Matthew Green and Councillors Wilson, Farr, Nann and Merulla in expressing outrage at the province’s decision to exclude pharmacies in inner city communities from their list for vaccine rollout via drug stores.  Calling the decision ‘nothing short of reckless,’ they’re demanding the Ford government reconsider their “negligence.
