Ontario reported 847 cases of COVID-19 and ten deaths on Wednesday.
According to the daily report, the province completed 33,977 tests. The reported positivity rate, which takes into account the date tests were done, is three per cent.
However, the health ministry says there continue to be data issued with Toronto Public Health.
Ontario is reporting 847 cases of #COVID19 and nearly 34,000 tests completed. Locally, there are 257 new cases in Toronto, 170 in Peel and 131 in York Region.
As of 8:00 p.m. yesterday, 489,484 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered.

Another 1,456 cases have been marked as resolved.
The Hamilton Wentworth District School Board is reporting another four cases of COVID-19 in schools. A staff member at Queen Mary Elementary School and a student at Ancaster Meadow Elementary School and Cathy Weaver Elementary School has tested positive.
An outbreak has been declared at A.M. Cunningham Elementary School, which has two confirmed student cases.
The Catholic board is reporting a staff case at Annunciation of Our Lord.
There are two staff cases and one student cases at St. Teresa of Avila. An outbreak has also been declared at that school.

The province has administered a total of 489,484 vaccine doses. As of 8 p.m. on Tuesday, a total of 195,366 people have received both required doses and are fully vaccinated.
There are 338 confirmed cases of the U.K. variant of the virus, six cases of the South African variant and one case of the Brazilian variant.
The death toll is now 6,729 people.
The number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 is down to 719. There are 298 patients in ICU with 211 of them on ventilators.
