The former campaign manager for Kim Craitor is raising some serious questions about the Niagara Falls MPP’s sudden resignation this week.

In his 10 years as MPP for Niagara Falls Kim Craitor had a solid reputation of being transparent and available to the public he served.

That’s why his sudden resignation Tuesday shocked a lot of people.

“It did catch me off guard. I knew him we served together almost 10 years. We’re not in the same party but we shared a common goal to get jobs back to Niagara,” says PC Leader Tim Hudak.

He also says he’s been playing phone tag with Craitor.

“I gave him a call the day he announced his resignation. I said I appreciate your sever and and want to wish you every success in the time ahead.”

Craitor’s friends in the riding say they were blindsided by his sudden departure. What made it even more suspicious for some is that the Constituency Office staff are gone as well. The hours are restricted and this afternoon it was closed.

Ron Planche, Craitor’s former executive assistant is now running the office. He left the job two years ago. Marg Germano says she finds it suspicious that Planche is back and Craitor’s gone.

Germano also says Craitor had a meeting scheduled with a group of business people the same afternoon he abruptly resigned.
