Dead man and woman behind Pelham house

Niagara Regional Police will not confirm that a professor from Brock University in St. Catharines is one of two people whose bodies were found behind a house in Pelham Tuesday.

A neighbour says a man and woman, named Jonathan and Christina live at 1190 Centre Street in Pelham, and says the man works at Brock University. Canada 411 shows someone named J. Neufeld lives at the address.

Police removed two bodies from the Pelham property last night. Investigators haven’t said how long the bodies were there, nor the suspected cause of death.

Earlier this month, a Jonathan Neufeld and a Christina Starkbaum were listed among 7 Canadians charged with conspiring to de-fraud the United States by filing false non-resident federal income tax returns, and claiming false income tax re-funds.
