Skateboarder injured

A 25 year old Hamilton skateboarder has been issued a ticket, after hitting a car on Friday night.

He suffered serious injuries in the process.

Police say the skateboarder drove into the car’s driver side door at the intersection of John and Charlton Avenue.

They say he had been going at a high speed and went through a red light.

He was taken to hospital, but he’s going to be o.k.
