N.F. teacher charged with impaired

A Niagara Falls Catholic high school teacher is facing impaired driving charges after a crash during a school trip.

Police say the woman was driving a van carrying several students that collided with a motorcycle.

It happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 3 in Haldimand.

No one in the van was hurt, and the motorcyclist is expected to recover.

46 year old Frances MacDonald is charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm.
