Charges laid in Thorold crash

Police have laid charges after a crash that killed a motorcyclist in Thorold earlier this month.

The man died after his motorbike and a pickup truck collided at Regional Road 20 and Merrittville Highway.

Police say the pick-up was trying to turn onto Regional Road 20 when it hit the bike.

47 year old Regis Allard died of his injuries in hospital.

21 year old Colin Krysa has been charged with careless driving.
