Horwath outlines budget proposals

Ontario NDP leader Andrea Horwath has said what her party needs to support the minority Liberal government’s budget.

Horwath told reporters that a new income tax bracket has to be created for people making in excess of $500,000 a year. She says the $570 million raised would help pay for removing the HST from home heating bills and would help to protect thousands of daycare spaces.
