Niagara assaults deemed unfounded

Niagara police say the allegations made by a young girl about a scruffy looking man frightening her as she rode to school in Port Colborne Monday morning are “unfounded”…

The girl also told police the same man approached her on two other occasions in September.

Police say that story is also false.

At the same time, police want to encourage children to be vigilant and to report any suspicious behavior to their parents, teachers or the police.
