A Hamilton police officer previously charged with drunk driving is now facing five new charges under the Police Services Act.

34-year old Constable Douglas Sephton is accused of threatening a man with bodily harm, and insulting a member of the public and a member of the Hamilton Police Department.

He also has nine other counts of misconduct pending including showing up for duty drunk and making a false 9/11 call.
