Fort Erie house fire causes $125K in damages

The Fort Erie fire department is investigating the city’s 10th structural fire in less than two months.

A fire broke out at a house on Torrance Street around seven o’clock Saturday night.

Around 30 firefighters were called in to get the blaze under control.

Luckily no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is still unknown but damage is pegged at $125,000.

There have been 10 structural fires in Fort Erie since October 12th.

At least four of the fires have been deemed suspicious.
