As we enter fall, there’s never been a better time to explore local wines and wineries. Natalie MacLean offers North America’s most popular online wine classes at nataliemaclean.com and tells us why Niagara is a great place to explore.
Lakeview Winery
Along with their EastDell Black Cab, which is a full-bodied blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Baco Noir, Lakeview Winery also gentle goat yoga, and s’mores wine pairings.
Trius Winery
Trius has a wonderful Sparkling Rosé, and while there you can take photos at their art installations, which has made them one of the most Instagrammable wineries on the planet. They have a Rosé All Day wall, a bubble lounge and bubble tub, as well as a restaurant serving up locally inspired food.
Cave Spring
Natalie also shared a great Riesling from Cave Spring, who have a new tasting room overlooking the vineyards. You can also visit the small shops in the village and stay at the inn.
Reif Esates
Looking for something sweet? Reif offers a Vidal Icewine, that can be paired with dried fig and blue cheese or duck confit and they also make their ice wine into slushies.
Tawse Winery
Tawse offers their Pinot Noir Growers Blend which you can try in their cozy tasting room paired with cheese and meats.

Try their Fresh Moscato that would be great paired with spicy dishes, or try their cider and snacks.
