Trudeau visits Islamic conference

Justin Trudeau was the second Federal Leader in two days to visit an Islamic Conference in the Toronto area. As many as 30 thousand people came from across the country to attend the three day Ahmadiyya Muslim Conference. On Friday, Conservative Leader Stephen Harper attended, and on Saturday, Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau made an appearance. Harper spoke to the group about the threat if Isis. Trudeau spoke about religious freedom.

Harper is taking the weekend off from the campaign trail before starting up again on Monday. NDP leader Thomas Mulcair took Saturday off but will be making appearances in Halifax on Sunday.
