She was the picture of courage.
Sharlene Bosma, widow of murder victim Tim, spoke fondly of her memories of him during a memorial service Wednesday at Carmen’s banquet hall in Hamilton.

Thank-you to CHCH for airing the Funeral of TIm Bosma, helped to find some closure here at home, when I didn’t know the family at all before this nightmare, but upheld them in prayer. Amazing strong family only strengthened by a strong caring community.

My heart breaks for his wife nd daughter, may they find comfort in their family and their faith in the long road to come. I really hope she finds the strength not only to get thru the passing of her husband, But also to get thru the days ahead leading to the arrest of all involved and till after the trial. When she will finally be able to handle her grief and try to heal. My whole family send our warmest thoughts and prayers and strength to you and all of your family to try and heal… May Tim Bosma rest in peace and always ALWAYS watch over his wife and daughter.

My thoughts and prayers have been constantly going out to Sharlene and her family. I am so sadden by this senseless murder. Tim seemed like an amazing husband and father. I drove by Tim’s church and just sat in my car and prayed.
This has really hit home for me. I can’t imagine how the family is feeling. I have cried many times and I don’t even know Tim.

I just watched this beautiful memorial service for your husband Sharlene and want to express my deepest sympathy and condolenses to you, your family and that of Tim’s. This tragedy has made many of us open our eyes to the evils of the world, yet with the feeling of love, hope and strength that you have so honourably shown over the past couple of weeks. I would like to say how terrible I feel for the Bosma family and their loss. It`s truly amazing how someone who never even met this man can feel like they have known them their whole life because that`s how it feels to myself and to so many others. It`s like I can’t stop thinking about what has happened. It’s on my mind all day every day. I feel horrible every time I hear about it but at the same time I want to know Tim is going to be a man everyone will remember and his daughter will know it. I just hope the rest of the family will be alright over time Sharlene seems very strong, she will be an inspiration for others
