My heart breaks for his wife nd daughter, may they find comfort in their family and their faith in the long road to come. I really hope she finds the strength not only to get thru the passing of her husband, But also to get thru the days ahead leading to the arrest of all involved and till after the trial. When she will finally be able to handle her grief and try to heal. My whole family send our warmest thoughts and prayers and strength to you and all of your family to try and heal… May Tim Bosma rest in peace and always ALWAYS watch over his wife and daughter.

My thoughts and prayers have been constantly going out to Sharlene and her family. I am so sadden by this senseless murder. Tim seemed like an amazing husband and father. I drove by Tim’s church and just sat in my car and prayed.
This has really hit home for me. I can’t imagine how the family is feeling. I have cried many times and I don’t even know Tim.
Sharlene, you are so beautiful inside and out. How you spoke out today was just amazing, I can’t believe your strength.

I just watched this beautiful memorial service for your husband Sharlene and want to express my deepest sympathy and condolenses to you, your family and that of Tim’s. This tragedy has made many of us open our eyes to the evils of the world, yet with the feeling of love, hope and strength that you have so honourably shown over the past couple of weeks. Thank you for opening up and sharing your stories with those around us, as we are all grieving and mourning your loss with you. God Bless.

S. V. says:

“Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him. [She] will be like a tree planted by the water, that sends out its roots by the stream… which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever [she] does prospers. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. [Therefore, she] does not fear when the heat comes; [her] leaves are always green… [and she] has no worries in a year of drought; [she] never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7,8; Psalm 1:3,6 (New International Version, The Bible)

My heartfelt condolences to Sharlene Bosma, her daughter and their extended family. May her steadfast trust in the LORD, in the face of such evil, continue to “bear much fruit”, in her life and in the lives of others. Our family will continue to pray for you in the difficult days ahead.

jen k says:

I would like to say how terrible I feel for the Bosma family and their loss. It`s truly amazing how someone who never even met this man can feel like they have known them their whole life because that`s how it feels to myself and to so many others. It`s like I can’t stop thinking about what has happened. It’s on my mind all day every day. I feel horrible every time I hear about it but at the same time I want to know Tim is going to be a man everyone will remember and his daughter will know it. I just hope the rest of the family will be alright over time Sharlene seems very strong, she will be an inspiration for others
