Exclusive // Stuart Rutherford

What We Do In the Shadows premiered at TIFF last year to rave reviews, earning itself the Grolsch People’s Choice Midnight Madness Award as voted by festival attendees. The film, directed by and co-starring Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement, is a mockumentary that follows a group of vampire flatmates in New Zealand who have to deal with the arrival of Nick, a young new vampire, into their midst.

We talked to co-star Stuart Rutherford, who plays Nick’s IT consultant friend, about the film and what it’s like working with his close group of pals.
