A Hamilton family had a rude awakening, when a car in their driveway went up in flames early Friday morning.

Fire crews were called to a home on West Avenue around 3:30. One car was destroyed, and a second car was damaged. Several windows in the house above the cars were shattered by the heat. Fortunately, the flames didn’t spread to the house, and no one was injured. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
