Body found in Lake Ontario

Halton police have found the body of an elderly man along Lake Ontario off Holyrood Avenue in Oakville.

That’s near the intersection of Dorval Drive and Lakeshore Road West. It’s not known at this time whether police consider his death suspicious. Holyrood Park is closed while police investigate. The Oakville Humane Society has rescued the owner’s dog, who was found with him along the lake.
