Trump slams ‘weak’ European leaders in Politico interview, reconsidering Ukraine support

In a hard-hitting interview with Politico, U.S. President Donald Trump slammed Europe as a “decaying” continent, run by “weak” leaders unwilling to get tough on immigration, or end the war in Ukraine.

Trump suggested the U.S. may reconsider how much support it gives Kyiv, causing alarm in Europe that Trump may abandon Ukraine altogether during a precarious moment in peace negotiations with Russia.
