JD Vance heading to Pakistan for mediation as Iranian ceasefire remains unstable

VIDEO: The Iranian ceasefire agreement remains shaky at best, with each side seemingly having an altered perception of what was agreed too. U.S. Vice President JD Vance is heading to Pakistan where government officials there will mediate for both sides, but questions are still circulating around the exact details of what it will take to strike a deal. A lot of moving parts here, we will start with Iran, who on Friday vowed not to participate in these negotiations until a separate ceasefire takes effect in Lebanon where Israel has been launching strikes against Hezbollah since the beginning of the war. There’s also confusion over tanker traffic in the Strait of Hormuz that’s left U.S. President Donald Trump frustrated and lashing out on social media.
