Scott Adams, the man who created the satirical comic strip Dilbert, has died at 68.
Adams had been fighting a prostate cancer diagnosis since May of 2025, and entered hospice Monday.
His work was widely renown and at it’s peak, circulated in roughly two thousand newspapers worldwide.
Adams rose to popularity in the 1990’s offering a humorous take on life in the office often playing into the vapid nature of corporate America, but later in his career he shifted into political commentary, and eventually controversy, after his cartoon was dropped for racist comments he made online.
