‘It was pretty scary.’ WW II veteran relives D-Day invasion

British born Gordon Schottlander was an 18-year-old commissioned officer who landed on Juno Beach and fought bravely alongside Canadian soldiers as part of the D-Day invasion. He later came to Canada with his wife Colleen, building a big family in Burlington where many memories were created. This morning Gordon joined us to share the memories from D-Day.
