HWDSB extends deadline for parents to register their kids for school

The Hamilton Wentworth District School Board is giving elementary school parents more time to register their kids for September.
Parents need to let the board know if they will be sending their kids to school or if they are keeping them home for online learning.
The deadline has been extended a few times, after parents reported having issues logging onto the system and incorrect information.
At a news conference Tuesday afternoon, the board said it’s giving parents until 11:59 p.m. Thursday.
Elementary Pre-Registration deadline is extended to August 27 at 11:59 PM. If you have access to the Parent Portal, please use the portal to pre-register your elementary student(s), otherwise an alternate method to submit pre-registration is available at https://t.co/vB2YBOKTbX pic.twitter.com/0m7WN8Nn7q
