Chef D is in the kitchen cooking with seasonal produce

First Published:

This morning we were in the kitchen with Chef D.

Ever thought that you could have a fresh strawberry at the end of October? Chef D loves the taste of local strawberries that are grown in Ontario greenhouses. And what better way to enjoy the taste than in a pie!

If you are looking for something more savory he showed us how to prepare an easy appetizer. He took mini sweet peppers and filled them with cream cheese, mixed with roasted garlic, jalapeños and sautéed onions. . So easy, but so delicious!
