Young men flee stolen SUV in Hamilton three-car collision, one person seriously injured

Hamilton police are looking for two young men who fled a stolen SUV responsible for a three-car collision on Monday in which the driver of one of the cars was seriously injured.

Police say that around 5:30 p.m. a white Mercedes SUV was speeding southbound on Quigley Road and came into contact with a white Dodge Ram pickup truck also travelling southbound.

The Mercedes then drove head-on into a black Toyota that was travelling northbound and seriously injured the 71-year-old driver. The driver of the Dodge was uninjured.

The SUV was on file with Hamilton police as stolen.

Suspect one is described as a black male about 17 to 19 years of age with medium black hair and a black durag head cloth.

The second suspect is described as a black male about 20 years old and around 6′. He has a thin build, afro hairstyle and had a grey shirt on.

Residents and businesses in the area are asked to check CCTV footage and doorbell cameras for anything suspicious on July 16 between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
