Woman known to frequent Hamilton wanted on Canada-wide warrant

The Ontario Provincial Police say a woman who is known to frequent Hamilton is wanted on a Canada-wide arrest warrant after she broke the conditions of her statutory release.

Investigators say the woman’s name is Heather Bell, she is described as an Indigenous woman, 56-years-old, around 6 foot tall and 212 pounds. She is said to have black hair, hazel eyes and several tattoos.

According to authorities, Bell’s tattoos include the word “believe” on the left side of her neck, the letter “B” wearing a crown on her right hand, a backwards dollar-sign on her left hand, the word “respect” on her right arm, “nothing changes” on her left arm, “Kyle” with a birthdate on her right calf and a butterfly on her left calf.

Officers say Bell is serving a sentence of 4 years, 11 months and 8 days for:

  • Three counts of possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Failure of comply with orders
  • Possession of a weapon while knowingly unauthorized
  • Possession of a weapon contrary to a probation order

Beyond Hamilton, the OPP say Bell is also known to frequent Guelph, Kingston and Peterborough, Ont.
