Woman hospitalized following Oakville hit-and-run, suspect wanted

Halton police are asking for the public’s help identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a Friday morning hit-and-run in Oakville that left one woman in hospital.

At approximately 11:10 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of Dundas Street East and Oak Park Boulevard for reports of a woman being hit by a car.

Investigators determined that a 67-year-old woman was struck by a passing vehicle. The suspect failed to remain at the scene.

The woman was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities are now attempting to identify the suspect vehicle and driver.

Anyone with relevant information or security or dash-cam footage from the area during the time of the incident is asked to contact police at Madison.hall@haltonpolice.ca.
