Niagara police previously identified Davy Rocchetti as a witness in the murder of 82-year-old Larry Pearce on July 17 at Charles Daley Park in Lincoln.

Detectives are now in the process of obtaining a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of 50-year-old Rocchetti.

Police have charged the wanted man with second-degree murder.

Investigators say as of Tuesday, Rocchetti was still driving the victim’s silver Honda CRV.

They say he was last seen at around 10:00 a.m. in the 1900 block of Mississauga’s Dundas Street West.

The vehicle is described as no longer having a front license plate displayed and the rear plate may have been replaced. The car originally had the plate number 24FS30.

Police describe the vehicle as “distinctive” saying it has Duck Tape on the drivers side front bumper and covering the entirety of the back window.

Officers also believe the suspect is with his Pitbull-style breed dog that has white fur and brown markings, including one over the dog’s left eye.

Police advise not approaching the suspect if he is seen, instead call 911.
