Ontario’s police watchdog is investigating after a Niagara OPP vehicle was involved in a crash in Welland Friday night that left a motorcyclist injured.

Niagara police say a man from Wainfleet has been arrested following a police chase and K-9 deployment Saturday morning.

With school back in full swing, the OPP say the first week was disappointing in terms of roadway safety – saying multiple cars across southwestern Ontario failed to stop for school buses. Eric Vienneau spoke with officers about the ongoing issue.
