Here’s what to expect on the Evening News at 6 p.m.

Ticat fans have been waiting for this moment since 1999 – a chance to end the longest Grey Cup drought of any team in the league. Danielle de Graauw will be live outside the Hamilton Stadium.

The federal government is giving a big boost to a local YMCA housing project in downtown Hamilton and the current location will be sold to make way for more housing. It’s the same location that had a fire on the third floor of its men’s residence. This new location will be a mixed use community building. Sean Cowan has the story.

A walking tour at the Hamilton Cemetery today uncovers untold stories of a generation etched in the fabric of our country. These stories of veterans who served our country are inspiring even as marble grave stones are weathered down through the years. Harry Corro went down the cemetery to speak with those visiting loved ones.
