Uber driver charged with sexual assault in Oakville

A 33-year-old Uber driver in Oakville has been charged following an investigation by the Halton Police Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit.

Ansar Ali, of Toronto, was arrested on Monday in connection to the alleged sexual assault of a young female passenger.

He has been charged with one count of sexual assault and breach of probation.
