Toronto teenager charged in connection to robbery at Grimsby jewelry store

Niagara police arrested a 16-year-old connected to the robbery of a Harmony Jewellers in Grimsby back in January.
Officers say the suspects entered the jewelry store at 37 Main St. West around 3:50 p.m. by smashing the front entrance with small sledgehammers.
Investigators say they then smashed several display cases and removed jewelry from the cases.
Police say the suspects then left the store and fled in a truck which was later found on Jan. 18 in the area of Nugent Drive and Nash Road North in Hamilton.
The suspect vehicle is a Ford F150 Lariat and has a red outline around near the front quarter panels.
Officers arrested a 16-year-old boy from Toronto and charged him with robbery, disguising with intent, and possessing property obtained by crime over $5,000.
The accused teenager remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in a video bail hearing to a St. Catharines courthouse Friday.
