Thorold man charged with multiple sexual offences against a minor

A 29-year-old Thorold man has been arrested and charged with five offences related to the sexual assault of a minor.
That’s according to Niagara police, who say they arrested Francesco Broccolo-Criger after investigating a sexual assault at a home in Port Colborne.
Officers say they discovered a person under the age of 16 has been the victim of several offences.
Detectives with the Child Abuse Unit have taken over the investigation.
Broccolo-Criger is facing the following charges:
- Expose genitals to a person under 16 years of age for sexual purpose x 2;
- Invitation to sexual touching under 16 years;
- Sexual interference with a person under 16 years;
- Sexual assault;
- Luring via telecommunication with a person under 16 years.
Investigators believe there may be other victims. They are asking anyone with information to come forward and contact police at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009494.
