The stolen moving truck that holds “irreplaceable” sets and backdrops for Ballet Jörgen’s performance of The Nutcracker has been found and returned to the group.
The truck was stolen from Etobicoke early Monday morning and the company issued a plea to the public to keep an eye out for the 26-foot truck and report any sightings to police.
The group says the truck has now been recovered by Peel Regional Police in Brampton.
Ballet Jörgen holds performances of The Nutcracker: A Canadian Tradition all over the province ahead of the holiday season.
The group is at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre on Tuesday and Wednesday and Hamilton on Dec. 6.
The company had vowed to go ahead with Tuesday’s show in Burlington even if the sets hadn’t been recovered.
